Ace in Another World Remake (Demo of Demo)
Please enjoy... the demo of the demo for the Ace in Another World remake!
So what happened was is that I had this game all planned out right then I went to write the script and my brain was like no you can't do that actually so then I decided to make a demo instead but then my brain was like no you can't do that so now it's a demo of the demo
FEATURES
- 5-10 minutes of gameplay I didn't count
- Original sprite (singular) (or plural if you count the ogre)
- A (hopefully..?) compelling teaser of the game to come (I will finish it I already have the other sprites and the story planned out pls-)
- Wolf girl
Crazy how I can make a 10 minute VN in a week but not a 40 minute VN in 4 weeks crazy
All that aside I hope you enjoy what I have, I'll keep working on this and hopefully get a full release soon enough. I apologize for not having a full game TT
Tell me how I had to debug exporting the game cause I didnt know you couldnt have spaces in the version name

So fun to see what you’ve done with the concept! I absolutely love the fairy tale-esque GUI, and you did a great job picking out music that fits the vibe. And the character sprites are really well done, too - especially Luna. I loved what you added to the story, like hints at a backstory for Luna and complicated relationship with her mom, and the fun back-and-forth with God.
There’s absolutely no need to apologize for not being able to put together a full game. As long as you had fun designing the game, that’s good enough! I’m sure you’ll pick it back up someday - once you feel like everyone’s forgotten about it and there’s no pressure anymore (that’s what always happens to me at least, haha). Best of luck!
